About
PMS

A new model of women's

healthcare, built on recognition,

compassion, evidence and long-term care.

"Expert care for every hormonal chapter"

Why PMS exists

Women’s hormonal health deserves time, continuity and a model of care that recognises how deeply it can influence daily life, long-term wellbeing and the way women feel in their own bodies. From sleep, mood and cognition to metabolic, bone and cardiovascular health, hormonal change is rarely confined to a single symptom — it affects the whole picture.  We believe women deserve care that reflects that complexity.

Pause Medical Specialists was established to provide that care.

We are building a GP-led specialist network focused on menopause, hormonal health and preventative care, delivered through partner clinics and Australia-wide Telehealth. Our aim is to make expert care more accessible — care that supports not only symptom management, but long-term vitality, wellbeing and health span across every hormonal chapter.

What We Believe

Women deserve to be heard

Hormonal symptoms can affect every aspect of daily life, from sleep and mood to confidence, cognition, relationships and physical health. We believe women deserve to feel listened to, taken seriously and supported with care that reflects the full impact of what they are experiencing.

Hormonal health is whole-body health

Hormonal change is not isolated to one symptom or one stage of life. It can shape metabolic health, cardiovascular risk, bone health, cognition, sexual wellbeing and overall quality of life. We believe good care must look at the whole picture.

Good medicine requires time

Complex symptoms rarely fit neatly into rushed appointments. We believe meaningful care requires time to understand the pattern of symptoms, the broader medical context and the individual goals of the woman sitting in front of us.

Evidence matters

Women deserve clear, balanced, evidence-based care — not fear, misinformation or oversimplified advice. We believe treatment decisions should be guided by current research, clinical judgement and thoughtful discussion of risks, benefits and options.

Prevention is part of treatment

Hormonal healthcare should not stop at symptom relief. We believe it should also support long-term health, vitality and function — with attention to cardiovascular, metabolic, bone, cognitive and sexual health across the years ahead.

Our Vision

To lead a new standard in women's healthcare - where every woman feels seen, heard and empowered through every hormonal chapter. For today, and every year to come.

We're here to support you.
